Crafting with Santa

We work with local community art centers and more to craft cards and keepsakes for lonely seniors and then we take these to people in need of more joy!

We provide this service for free and it's a lot of fun! Last year we hosted over 20 crafting events, we made hundreds of cards and we delivered them all around the Pac NW.

With your help we hope to expand the program.

My Equipment Santa

In Dec 27th 2023 we lost a dear friend. Mike E. Smith, Dan's close friend of 35 years. Frankly it was hard and it hurt.

It was also very inspiring. Our MES program, named after Mike, is our mentorship and Santa & Mrs Claus mentoring effort.

My Equipment Santa has... Equipped in part or full 13 new Santa types, 7 Mrs Claus and a few Elfs and even a Grinch. Ho ho.

We also mentor and support our team as they grow their own presence and local community efforts.

We're looking forward to 2026 and have a nice set of suits and rigs to hand off again this year, and more is coming. Ho ho.

Paint & Deliver Garden Gnomes...

We work with local partners, hosting crafting events where we paint garden gnomes together and then The Seattle Garden Gnome delivers them to local partners and homes.

It is really neat to see the enjoyment these events create, and it's a wonderful thing to deliver a hand panted gnome to lonely folks around the region.

Go Outside More...

Birding? Fishing? Just going for a wander? Yes. Our "Go Outside More..." initiative has us working with local senior centers, special needs folks and caregivers to be more active and to spend more time out of doors enjoying the wonderous local parks, lakes and more.

Special thanks to The Washington State Dept. of Fish and Wildlife! They have issued us a special permit that lets people come fishing with Dan & The HeartCloud team without needing anything.

Participants can literally just come outside and fish! No license, or gear required. All of this has been made possible by your support of HeartCloud!

So far this season we've had over 20 trips out, enjoyed over 100 hours of fishing and community building, and have spent time with some really neat people who have taken us up on our offer to Go Outside More.
